About Anurag Acharyais a computer scientist at Google and one of the co-creators of Google Scholar, the academic search engine that transformed the way scholarly articles are discovered online.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and previously worked on large-scale information retrieval and systems at Google. He and his team launched Google Scholar in 2004 to make academic research more accessible to everyone.
